BRIEF CORPORATE OVERVIEW

Computer Control + Integration, Inc. (CC+I) was founded in July 1988 by a group of design engineers and top management personnel, following the acquisition of J.P. Stevens & Co., Inc. by WestPoint Pepperell.  The group had worked together for eight years with this large multi-billion dollar textile company in designing, developing and successfully implementing computer integrated manufacturing systems throughout the Stevens corporation.  This same technology was later adapted to other industries.

Industries using CC+I's products and services include:

· Textiles                  ·  Rubber compounding    ·  Injection/Blow molding

· Plastic extrusion   ·  Beverage production      ·  Food processing

Application expertise involving the design and implementation of real-time monitoring and control systems for the above industries has been demonstrated in a wide variety of discrete, batch and continuous processes.  Specific processes where these automation techniques have been exhibited include: beverage filling lines, continuous textile ranges, injection/blow molding, batch and continuous mixing operations, material handling, motion control, textile/ slasher control, machine monitoring, work-in-process (WIP) tracking and laboratory testing.  The inclusion of SPC/SQC, bar code data entry and custom digital communications with third party devices have greatly enhanced the usefulness of these systems.  Integrated networking of both peer-to-peer and client/server based systems through the use of non-proprietary hardware, coupled with standard network software, provide customers with open architecture and ODBC systems suitable for inclusion in plant-wide computer integrated manufacturing plans.

CC+I's engineers have successfully installed over fourteen hundred (1400) networking computers involving the above type applications.  Approximately thirty-five (35) man years of software development time have been expended to provide this capability.
