CC+I has created a comprehensive Lab Information Management System (LIMS) for the beverage industry. The Beverage Suite LIMS was designed with quality assurance personnel, with the purpose of offering a complete method for managing beverage lab operations. The result is an extensive package that centralizes critical documentation, and provides reliable data needed to make proactive decisions. The system utilizes a relational database to store the data, which can be shared over a LAN system throughout an organization. Once the data is logged, the user may use the data for graphing, data trending, historical data analysis, as well as tracing specific production runs.

A comprehensive SPC package capable of producing histograms, process capability charts, as well as other SPC functions, provides information to make complex decisions quickly and accurately. Graphs are available directly from data entry forms for quick access to current product trends, as well as from a full menu of graphing functions. A full reporting package presents data in several ways, including summary, statistically, and the ability for customized user generated reports. The system will also integrate real-time data collected by on-line beverage analyzers from each respective beverage line, including Brix/Ratio and CO2 , if desired.

An operator friendly menu system, guides the user through the operations. Data entry is expedited through context sensitive data entry, as data entry forms retrieve repetitive fields from previous text, speeding entry for cyclical testing. Calculation fields allow the user to enter test parameters, and test results are calculated and filled in by the system. Online help screens are also provided to eliminate the need for the user to memorize product codes, syrup codes, etc.
